Objective
RISE 2026 aims to advance scientific exchange, showcase emerging research, and foster innovation, collaboration, and career growth. The workshop promotes participation, leadership, and visibility, offering a structured, research-focused, interactive environment. It intentionally balances two complementary goals: technical excellence and professional growth across the broader HPC/AI ecosystem.
Scope
RISE 2026 provides a dynamic space that strengthens research capacity, demonstrates innovation, and supports sustainable career development. It addresses key career challenges faced by the next generation in HPC and AI, serving innovators across four strategic tiers:
- Students and early-career researchers (0-5 years): Undergraduates, graduates, and technical staff seeking mentorship, technical skills, and funding guidance.
- Mid-career professionals (5-10 years): Postdocs, RSEs, and applied scientists preparing for senior technical, PI, or leadership roles.
- Senior researchers and technical leaders (10+ years): Established engineers and institutional leaders driving large-scale workflows and cross-domain innovation.
- Educators, administrators, and workforce strategists: Professionals shaping inclusive computing programs and sustainable talent pipelines.
